Since training in vinyasa flow with fringe.yoga, yin yoga with Sarah Lo, certifying in Level 1 & 2 Reiki with Fenton Joseph-Zywicki (Native Highs), Level 3 Reiki with Louise Segui, Level 1 Thai Massage with Catia Garcia and Tantric Hatha with The Practice Bali – I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s all about energy. How are we using our energy? Where do we need to find balance? What emotional blockages are causing resistance, tension, stress, disease? What do we need (mentally, energetically, physically, emotionally, spiritually) for the current season we are in? What are we, as a society, lacking from our every day lives?
 
Stress (physical, emotional and mental) is a common cause of dis-ease in the Western world and what caused me to take a step out of 9-5 and into the world of self-healing. With that in mind, I hope that my classes will leave you feeling light, relaxed, re-connected and most importantly, happy.
 
My service is to invoke harmony, balance and calm awareness within each of my students, so that we may connect back to our natural state of wellbeing and in turn, find stability, healing and evolution.

Pranayama and Meditation sessions – both of which I have found invaluable in my healing journey. These sessions are designed to bring about the energy force and mental stability most vital for your healing and re-balancing. These can be done online with ease, through a Zoom or Skype and are very easy to implement into daily life.

Tantric Hatha Yoga is pure energy mastery. Ready to level up your practice? Find deep levels of stability, mastery and evolution. 40 day Sadhanas (personal practices) are the way forward. Expect big change and more profound meditation.  …ps. Tantra is not about sex and don’t believe anyone who tells you otherwise.

Yin Yoga classes are based on the Taoist concept of yin and yang; opposite and complementary principles in nature. Yin is the stable, unmoving, hidden aspect of things; yang is the changing, moving, revealing aspect. A Yin yoga class consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses, normally held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. Sequences are constructed to move the flow of chi through the body’s meridian lines which creates a foundation for meditative awareness, develops qualities of mindfulness and allows us to remove stress from within.

Chair Yoga classes offer a slower pace of modified yoga poses, adapted so that they can be done while seated in a chair. These modifications make yoga accessible to people who cannot stand or lack the mobility to move easily from standing to seated to supine positions. Yoga really is for every body and can be done from anywhere; chair yoga creates simple, accessible, effective stretches and sequences that can be followed anywhere with a seat!

Vinyasa Flow classes (‘vi’ to place, ‘nyasa’ special way) taught with emphasis on moving with the breath to obtain optimal power and energy; alignment focused, fluid and vigorous in typical Vinyasa style. My sequences are designed to build functional strength into muscle groups so that our bodies and practice grow stronger week on week. Modifications and progressions are offered throughout class.
