If you would prefer to practice in the luxury and comfort of your own home and miss the studio setting, need help progressing in a particular area of yoga, have an injury or medical condition, or just want to deepen your knowledge, 1:1s are designed to suit your needs.
Prices are for a 60 minute class or a personalised workshop. All classes inclusive of pranayama and meditation. An additional fee of £10 per person is added for any additional students (online is price per household). Pranayama and Meditation sessions – both of which I have found invaluable in my healing journey. These sessions are designed to bring about the energy force and mental stability most vital for your healing and re-balancing. These can be done online with ease, through a Zoom or Skype and are very easy to implement into daily life.
Yin Yoga classes are based on the Taoist concept of yin and yang; opposite and complementary principles in nature. Yin is the stable, unmoving, hidden aspect of things; yang is the changing, moving, revealing aspect. A Yin yoga class consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses, normally held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. Sequences are constructed to move the flow of chi through the body’s meridian lines which creates a foundation for meditative awareness, develops qualities of mindfulness and allows us to remove stress from within.
Chair Yoga classes offer a slower pace of modified yoga poses, adapted so that they can be done while seated in a chair. These modifications make yoga accessible to people who cannot stand or lack the mobility to move easily from standing to seated to supine positions. Yoga really is for every body and can be done from anywhere; chair yoga creates simple, accessible, effective stretches and sequences that can be followed anywhere with a seat!
Vinyasa Flow classes (‘vi’ to place, ‘nyasa’ special way) taught with emphasis on moving with the breath to obtain optimal power and energy; alignment focused, fluid and vigorous in typical Vinyasa style. My sequences are designed to build functional strength into muscle groups so that our bodies and practice grow stronger week on week. Modifications and progressions are offered throughout class.
