By using this website (https://www.robynkristen.yoga) and/or joining Robyn Kristen Yoga as a member, you are agreeing to comply with our terms and conditions, which will be detailed in this Terms of Use (TOU) document. In order to maintain membership privileges you agree to follow all of our terms and conditions.
Please note that this document will hereon refer to the use of our website as use of the ‘Service’.
By applying for a new membership, or renewing your membership, you confirm that all the information you have given is 100% accurate. In the event that you have falsified any information, you understand your account may be cancelled with no refund.
In addition, when using this Service and/or joining Robyn Kristen Yoga, you agree to abide by any applicable posted guidelines, which may change from time to time. Should you object to any term or condition detailed in the TOU, any guidelines, or any subsequent modifications thereto or become dissatisfied with our services in any way, your only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of this Service or cancel your membership.
2. Modifications to this Agreement
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify or otherwise alter these terms and conditions at any time. Such modifications shall become effective immediately upon the posting thereof. You must review this agreement on a regular basis to keep yourself apprised of any changes.
We will endeavour to advise members of any major changes via email, as soon as is reasonably possible.
This Agreement is valid up to and until you cancel your account.
3. Membership Fees
Prices are as stated on https://www.robynkristen.yoga at the time of purchase. All payments are paid up front at the beginning of the annual billing cycle. Payments are automatically deducted from the card details on file each annual billing cycle, unless you cancel your account.
4. Application Process for Teachers
4.1 Membership application
All applicants must pay a one off non-refundable application fee, before an application will be considered.
Once this fee has been received we will arrange a call with you to finalise your application. Please note if you have applied as a Teacher with a certificate from a Trainer not currently registered with a recognised Yoga body, then we will have to verify that your teacher training course meets our standards before we can proceed with your application. We will contact your trainer firstly by telephone and if there is no answer, we will send them up to two emails over a 7 day period to ensure that they meet our standards.
Once we have completed the sign up telephone call with you, you will be able to upload our membership logo on to your own website and social media and update your profile on the Robyn Kristen Yoga website. It is your responsibility to ensure before completing the application that you have access to the back end of your website to upload this information.
Please note, if you do not have a yoga related website or yoga related social media accounts there is no requirement to add the logo on to anything.
As soon as we receive payment for membership, your profile will be updated and we will activate your membership. We aim to do this within 4 working days.
4.2 Your Profile
This must be 100% completed before your membership will be activated and live on our website. You are required to complete a short biography on this profile, detailing where you completed your teacher training, the style of yoga you teach and any other interesting information which is relevant. The profile is your opportunity to advertise your yoga teaching and is visible to members of the public. It is expected that you regularly update your profile.
4.3 Membership Dates and Insurance
Membership will run in line and will be on auto-renewal every year thereafter. Your membership expiry date will end one day before the date you paid, the following year. For example, if you pay to join Robyn Kristen Yoga on 23rd January 2017, your renewal payment will be charged 22nd January 2018.
Your membership will be dated to start from the date that you made payment, but be aware it is only activated when we can validate that you qualify to join Robyn Kristen Yoga. Once approved, you will benefit from price reductions across our website, depending upon your membership type.
4.4 Receiving Membership Documents and Logos
All Robyn Kristen Yoga documents are sent via email to the email address provided when you applied to join. They will only be sent, once we have activated your membership.
The Membership Logo can also be found on your profile.
4.5 What We Expect
By registering with Robyn Kristen Yoga, you will take an important step in maintaining your credibility as a yoga teacher. You will be listed on our website as an Associate Teacher.
As a Robyn Kristen Yoga member, you agree at all times to keep the Robyn Kristen Yoga Membership logo on your website homepage and social media, at a visible size. This logo will have a reverse link to your profile on Robyn Kristen Yoga
We reserve the right to carry out checks and if we find that you have removed our logo, your membership may be suspended.
It is a legal requirement to display your full name and business address on your personal website, we highly recommend that you do this.
You must promote Robyn Kristen Yoga in a positive manner at all times and agree to never misrepresent Robyn Kristen Yoga at any time. If you are investigated for the misrepresentation of Robyn Kristen Yoga, you agree to provide all and any information we require to conduct an investigation. This information would only be used in relation to that investigation. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel a membership at any time.
5. Membership Renewal
In order to maintain your membership with Robyn Kristen Yoga and continue to use the accreditation logo, you must renew your membership on an annual basis. Renewal Membership fees will be billed annually and automatically to the credit or debit card you provided when you enrolled and in the amount of the current Membership Fee. Should your credit or debit card expire or change you must inform us of your new card details, this can be updated by sending us an email to help@robynkristen.yoga.
Robyn Kristen Yoga will notify all members in the month prior to their renewal date to remind them of the upcoming charge.
If you do not wish to renew your membership, you must give 14 days notice to this effect in writing or via email to help@robynkristen.yoga, otherwise you may be charged the full renewal fee. In the unlikely event that you do not wish to renew, then please note we will cancel your profile on our website and you will be no longer eligible to display our logos and membership certificate.
If you do not wish to be on auto-renewal it is your responsibility to inform Robyn Kristen Yoga in writing when you make your application.
Robyn Kristen Yoga reserve the right to change the membership products and annual renewal fees at any time throughout the year, we will advise our members of any changes by email 28 days before they change.
An automatic renewal extends the existing expiry date of the Membership by one year; the renewal term begins the day the renewal payment has been taken, provided you meet our renewal criteria.
5.1 Renewal Criteria for Teachers
You must display our logo on your website and social media at all times;
You must have an up to date profile on our website, which is 100% complete;
If applicable you must have completed the Teacher Development Programme requirements for your membership level.
As soon as your membership expires we will suspend your membership for a period of 7 days. During this time you will be able to access your profile on our website and can still make a renewal payment. If your membership is renewed within this 7 day window then we will be able to start your new membership from the original expiry date, provided you meet the renewal criteria detailed above. If you renew after the 7 days have lapsed then you will need to reapply as a new member and will be subject to the current new business prices, which include a one-off sign up fee.
When an expired Membership is renewed, the new Membership term is one year, beginning on the date of the renewal payment.
Renewal Prices 2018 –
Your renewal will be charged at the current new business annual membership fee.
5.2 Members renewing
From the day after you make your application and pay the sign up fee, we offer a cooling off period of 14 days in which you can change your mind for any reason and request to cancel your membership. Please note that the initial sign up fee for new applicants (including Teachers) is non-refundable under any circumstances. Once your annual membership fee has been paid there will be a further 14 days cooling off period (starting the day after you make the payment), at which point you will be entitled to a refund.
After these 14 days, we have a strict NO REFUND policy under any circumstances. If you wish to cancel your membership after this time, then we will do this without refund.
5.3 Renewals
If you do not wish to renew your Robyn Kristen Yoga membership, then you must submit your cancellation in writing giving at least 14 (fourteen) days notice before your renewal date or within 7 (seven) days via email. Once the renewal payment has been received you can still cancel, however, we will deduct an administration fee from the refund.
From the day after your annual renewal payment is made, we offer a cooling off period of 14 days, in which you can change your mind for any reason and request to cancel your membership. We will however, withhold an administration fee in the event of a cancellation to cover our time and bank charges.
After these 14 days, we have a strict NO REFUND policy under any circumstances. If you wish to cancel your membership after this time, then we will do this without refund.
In the event, you have falsified any part of your application, Robyn Kristen Yoga reserve the right to cancel your account with no refund. If you have paid the incorrect membership fee due to you providing incorrect or false information, Robyn Kristen Yoga will ask you to pay the full and correct price, within 7 (seven) days. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your membership with no refund.
If your application is cancelled for any reason due to an error on your side, Robyn Kristen Yoga reserve the right to ask you to make a new application with no refund on the previous application.
Please note the sign up fees for Teachers are non-refundable at any stage in the process.
6. Use of Robyn Kristen Yoga Logos
Your membership logo should be added to your website and social media (this can be found on the Dashboard of your profile).
You must add our logo in all relevant course Marketing and Advertising material.
7. Career Breaks
7.1 Teachers
We can offer career breaks for a one-off payment of £25 if you need to take a break from your membership, for example for pregnancy, sickness or due to a change in circumstances. This is charged at £25 for an unlimited period and when you come back this money will be deducted from the current renewal fee. We will contact you each year to see what you are planning to do. Please note career break payments are non-refundable. If you wish to return from a career break you can do so at any time, please contact the office to set up your membership.
8. Change to Details/Circumstances
If you change your contact or credit card details throughout the year, this can be changed by updating your details on your profile. It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to your personal details.
8.1 Name Change
If you change your name, then please send in evidence of this and we will amend your account and reissue the insurance and membership documents in your new name. Please note that there is an administration fee to do this.
8.2 Telephone Number
Please ensure we have a valid telephone number for you at all times, as we may need to contact you to discuss your membership. Members with Robyn Kristen Yoga insurance must provide us with a postal address and telephone number. If we are unable to contact you then your insurance may be invalidated.
9. Upgrades to Membership Level
9.1 Membership Level
We can upgrade your membership level at any time during the year if you wish to pay in advance. This can be done by contacting our office. There is a one-off (non-refundable) fee to upgrade and this is subject to our checks to ensure you meet the standards for the next level. If you do not meet these standards, you will remain on your current level and can apply to upgrade again in the future.
10. Data Protection

All personal information which we gather during the application process is used purely for our own purposes (Robyn Kristen Yoga), in order to ensure our members meet our training standards. Please note that we will look at your teacher training certificate and put the relevant information into our system, we will NOT keep an electronic or paper copy of this on file. It is your responsibility to ensure that you keep a copy of this at all times.
We use your basic information to give our members a profile on our website. We will use your name and membership level to set this up. You will then be required to complete other information yourself, such as a biography, photograph, contact details and location. The address you submitted during the application process will be kept confidential but you must state a city and country (on your profile) where you teach in order for your profile to be searchable.
All personal information is kept confidential and will not be shared with other organisations.
You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, files, information, usernames, images, graphics, photos, profiles, audio and video clips, sounds, musical works, works of authorship, applications, links and other content or materials that you submit to Robyn Kristen Yoga, post or display on our social media. You must have full legal copyright permission to use any content stated above.
11. Conditions of Use for the Service
11.1. Eligibility for Use
We will reserve some parts of the Service exclusively for professional purchasers, sellers, collectors and resellers of items and accessories who are acceptable to Robyn Kristen Yoga in its sole discretion. Although Robyn Kristen Yoga attempts to limit the use of these parts of the Service to such purchasers, sellers, collectors and resellers of items and accessories, nothing herein shall create any right of action against Robyn Kristen Yoga for failing to adequately screen potential users or prevent the use of Robyn Kristen Yoga or the Service by users who are not professional purchasers, sellers, collectors and resellers of items or accessories.
11.2 Content
You understand that all advertisements, postings, messages, text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, or other materials (“Content”) posted on, transmitted through, or linked from the Service are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. More specifically, you are entirely responsible for each individual item of Content that you post, email or otherwise make available via the Service.
Likewise, if you request the assistance of Robyn Kristen Yoga to post content, or if you imply consent that Robyn Kristen Yoga, may post content on your behalf, either by written or oral means, or you fail to inform Robyn Kristen Yoga that content should be removed, you are equally responsible for the content.
You waive any and all claims against Yoga Alliance Professionals of a right of publicity for your image or likeness throughout the world by posting any information or pictures of yourself on https://www.robynkristen.yoga. You understand that Robyn Kristen Yoga does not control, and is not responsible for personal Content made available through the Service, and that by using the Service, you may be exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent, inaccurate, misleading, or otherwise objectionable.
When you post User Content to the Service, you authorise and direct us to make such copies thereof as we deem necessary in order to facilitate the posting and storage of the Content on the Service. By posting Content to any part of the Service, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to the Company an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully paid, worldwide license (with the right to sub-license) to use, copy, publicly perform, publicly display, reformat, translate, excerpt (in whole or in part) and distribute such Content for any purpose on or in connection with the Service or the promotion thereof, to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such Content, and to grant and authorise sub-licenses of the foregoing.

11.4 Notification of Claims of Infringement
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please send information by email to help@robynkristen.yoga. Please include the following in your notification:
The identity of the material on https://www.robynkristen.yoga that you claim is infringing, in sufficient detail so that we may locate it on the website, if possible include a screenshot;
A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
Your address, telephone number, and email address;
A statement by you declaring that (i) the above information in your Notice is accurate, and (ii) that you are the owner of the copyright interest involved or that you are authorised to act on behalf of that owner; and include a physical or electronic signature.
11.5 Privacy and Information Disclosure
Robyn Kristen Yoga may, in its sole discretion, preserve or disclose your Content, as well as your information, such as email addresses, IP addresses, timestamps, and other user information. Your personal information is further governed by Robyn Kristen Yoga Privacy Policy.
11.6 Conduct
You agree not to post, email, or otherwise make available Content:
that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libellous, invasive of another’s privacy, or is harmful to minors in any way;
that is pornographic or depicts a human being engaged in sexual activities or exposing sexual organs unfitting for the Service;
that harasses, degrades, intimidates or is hateful toward an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability;
that suggests a discriminatory preference based on race, colour, national origin, religion, sex, familial status or handicap (or violates any state or local law prohibiting discrimination on the basis of these or other characteristics);
that violates employment opportunity laws, including but not limited to, stating in any advertisement for employment a preference or requirement based on race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, age, or disability;
that impersonates any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a Robyn Kristen Yoga employee, or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity (this provision does not apply to Content that constitutes lawful non-deceptive parody of public figures.);
that includes personal or identifying information about another person without that person’s explicit consent;
that is fraudulent, false, deceptive, misleading, deceitful;
that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party, or Content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships;
that constitutes or contains “affiliate marketing,” “link referral code,” “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or unsolicited commercial advertisement;

that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
that disrupts the normal flow of dialogue with an excessive amount of Content (flooding attack) to the Service, or that otherwise negatively affects other users’ ability to use the Service;

Additionally, you agree not to:

12. No Spam Policy
You understand and agree that sending unsolicited email advertisements to Robyn Kristen Yoga email addresses or through Robyn Kristen Yoga computer systems is expressly prohibited by these TOU.
13. Paid Postings
We may charge a fee to post Content in some areas of the Service. The fee is an access fee permitting Content to be posted in a designated area. Each party posting Content to the Service is responsible for said Content and compliance with the TOU. All fees paid will be non-refundable in the event that Content is removed from the Service for violating the TOU. Fees collected for specific services, such as subscription services and advertising, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing for a specific promotional program.
14. Limitations on Service
You acknowledge that Robyn Kristen Yoga may establish limits concerning use of the Service, including the maximum number of days that Content will be retained by the Service, the maximum number and size of postings, email messages, or other Content that may be transmitted or stored by the Service, and the frequency with which you may access the Service. You agree that Robyn Kristen Yoga has no responsibility or liability for the deletion or failure to store any Content maintained or transmitted by the Service. You acknowledge that Robyn Kristen Yoga reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice, and that Robyn Kristen Yoga shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
15. Access to the Service
Robyn Kristen Yoga grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive license to access the Service for your own personal use. This license does not include: (a) access to the Service by Posting Agents; or (b) any collection, aggregation, copying, duplication, display or derivative use of the Service nor any use of data mining, robots, spiders, or similar data gathering and extraction tools for any purpose unless expressly permitted by Robyn Kristen Yoga.
A limited exception to (b) is provided to general purpose internet search engines and non-commercial public archives that use such tools to gather information for the sole purpose of displaying hyperlinks to the Service, provided they each do so from a stable IP address or range of IP addresses using an easily identifiable agent and comply with our robots.txt file.
Robyn Kristen Yoga does not permit you to display on your website, or create a hyperlink on your website to, individual postings on the Service, unless permission has been granted by Robyn Kristen Yoga to do so. You may create a hyperlink to the home page of https://www.robynkristen.yoga, so long as the link does not portray Robyn Kristen Yoga, its employees, or its affiliates in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive matter.
16. Termination of Service
You agree that Robyn Kristen Yoga, in its sole discretion, has the right (but not the obligation) to delete or deactivate your account, block your email or IP address. We may otherwise terminate your access to or use of the Service (or any part thereof), immediately and without notice. We may remove and discard any Content within the Service, for any reason, including, without limitation, if Robyn Kristen Yoga believes that you have acted inconsistently with the TOU. Furthermore, you agree that Robyn Kristen Yoga shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any termination of your access to the Service. You agree not to attempt to use the Service after said termination.
17. Proprietary Rights
The Service is protected to the maximum extent permitted by copyright laws and international treaties. Content displayed on or through the Service is protected by copyright as a collective work and/or compilation, pursuant to copyrights laws, and international conventions. Any reproduction, modification, creation of derivative works from or redistribution of the site or the collective work, and/or copying or reproducing the sites or any portion thereof to any other server or location for further reproduction or redistribution is prohibited without the express written consent of Robyn Kristen Yoga. You further agree not to reproduce, duplicate or copy Content from the Service without the express written consent of Robyn Kristen Yoga, and agree to abide by any and all copyright notices displayed on the Service. You may not decompile or disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to discover any source code contained in the Service. Robyn Kristen Yoga, as well as certain other of the names, logos, and materials displayed on https://www.robynkristen.yoga, constitute trademarks, trade names, service marks or logos (“Marks”) of Robyn Kristen Yoga or other entities. You are not authorised to use any such logos, with the exception of your membership logo. Ownership of all such logos and the goodwill associate therewith remains with Robyn Kristen Yoga or those other entities.
Although Robyn Kristen Yoga does not claim ownership of content that its users post, by posting Content to any public area of the Service, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to Robyn Kristen Yoga an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully paid, worldwide license to use this Content. We may copy, perform, display, and distribute said Content and to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, said Content, and to grant and authorise sub-licenses (through multiple tiers) of the foregoing. 19. Limitations of Liability
